The minimum age for membership is 19 years old, so determine your age category (at left) and you can see if we’re a good fit for you. If you answer Yes to all of the questions in your age category, you are ready to apply for membership with PhillyCarShare! If you answer No to any of the questions, and want to check with us, do not hesitate to call us at 215-730-0988 or email us at info@phillycarshare.com.
Select from the plans to complete the appropriate application. Then take our online orientation, and get your personal key in the mail.
Residents and Students: Membership is available to individuals and households. Each person on a household account needs to complete a separate application. Please note that each new residential member application carries a non-refundable $25 application fee.
Businesses: Start by creating an account for your business. Then, simply have each employee complete a driver application to join the account. Employees can simultaneously open a personal account if interested.
Dual Business Applications: Signing up for a Business account but want a separate account to do personal driving as well? Create both a Business and Residential account at the same time by submitting a Dual Application found under the “Join an existing account” -> “Join an Existing Business/Non-Profit account” heading. We’ll even waive the application fee for processing the residential portion of your application!
University of Pennsylvania: Driving for Penn business? Open a free University of Pennsylvania business account using your purchasing card or authorized Penn credit card. You must be faculty, staff, or a student that is authorized to drive for Penn business.
